I love the Flip covers! They work awesome and you can use the Bum Genius inserts with them! I think they will last forever because of the snap system! I love to use the covers during the day and just keep changing the inserts. Then at night, I love to use Bum Genius cause it holds for 12 hrs even with my almost 3 yr old. she is potty trained during the day, but not at night yet. I switched to cloth diapers 2 months ago and I am sooooo happy with Bum Genius and Flip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is worth the investment! I wish I would have known about these products years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say we just got this cover today, but I think it is going to be a real winner. I love the bumgenius organic aios, and I thought these would be good for my flats and fitteds. I love them so far. They fit perfectly over our flat diapers, and over an organic kissaluvs size 2 they are just a tad snug. I would imagine these would be great covers with prefolds as well. I have discovered that hook and loop and I don't mix. I love snaps and it can be hard to find a good snap cover much less one that is one size.

I think these are great covers for pre-folds. They are easy to use, look and fit much better than vinyl pants. The snaps are very easy to use, and adjust to fit well even on my one month old. I also like that it will adjust to my baby as he grows. Great product! My only suggestion is more colors!!!

After not having much luck with gDiapers, we were looking for an alternative and came across these. I LOVE this diaper cover. The small gRefills we already had fit ok, but I think the med/large will fit better. I have also used a cotton prefold and we have only had it leak once. (My son had a blow out, but I don't think anything would have been able to contain it. I also think the problem was the prefold not absorbing enough, not the Flip.) We have since ordered 2 more and plan on ordering as many as possible. I am on a limited income, so a little at a time is the most I can do. DH was a little intimidated at first, but now this is the first thing he reaches for. Well done!

I can not say enough about these diapers...they are fantastic. We have yet to have a leak in them (with the exception of my DH putting her to bed without changing her first ;-)...We use this diaper with the inserts during the day. We have also used prefiolds with it, but prefer the inserts. These are nice and stretchy and thin. The snaps give a great fit for my 3 month old and my 17 month old. No leaks at all! These diapers are the least bulky option I have used. These are my sole diaper for day time and sometimes night. I have fuzzi bunz for night and a bum genius 3.0. I would not buy another Bum Genius with the velcro as the fit is not nearly as good as these or the fuzzi bunz one size. Still my Fuzzi bunz have leaked and are bulkier and these are not. Only 3 things I would change about the Flip...1- the back flap should be as big as the front to hold the insert in place while putting on. 2- more color choices (frustrating if more come now as I just bought all my diapers). 3-these are air dry only...they do air dry quickly, but any busy mom would prefer the option to dry in the dryer.

I love them. My son is 11 months old and 19 pounds and I am still at the smallest setting. I use them with regular cotton trifolded prefolds which, very trim to me, but I have only ever used fitteds before this. Definitly buying more. I wish there were more colors!

LOVE the Flip system & covers! Even though I recently had the elastic on the back of my Flip diaper cover to "pop" (rendereding it loose,) the company has offered to replace it & I'm hoping that this was just a fluke. I also wanted to add that you SHOULD NOT use the BumGenius microfiber inserts with this cover... and I believe Cottonbabies should put this in bold print on the site... MICROFIBER SHOULD NEVER COME IN CONTACT WITH BABY'S SKIN!!!!!! It can leave a nasty "burn" on them where it sucks the moisture out of their skin..... The Flip inserts are only microfiber on the side that faces AWAY from baby.

These are great! While we have some of the organic and some of the microfiber inserts, we usually just put a trifolded Chinese prefold in these and use the inserts in the BGs. They fit my son well, and they seem comfortable. We've had no leaks. We were using prefolds & Thirsties covers before these, and while I loved the Thirsties, the leg gussets seemed to get so stained. These are much easier to clean, and they dry fast, too. Excellent product.

I have been using the Flip covers on my newborn baby over the BG bamboo fitteds. These are my FAVORITE covers now! They are trim enough to fit my newborn well without the bulk of most newborn diaper covers. The combination of these covers and the BG bamboo fitted diapers is AMAZING!

Amazing cover! We actually haven't even tried the inserts, but with our flats, these are the trimmest, most bullet-proof cover there is. We even started using them at night recently. I'm constantly impressed with these, and can not wait for more colors to join my stash!

All I have to say is ditto to Mary below. I also have an econobum and a bummis that I use with the bamboo fitteds and this is my favorite! My son is 5 mos old but only about 9 lbs ( he was born 1 lb 7 oz) and this is the best combo for under his clothes. I only have one of the green ones but I am about to order atleast one more and get the blue, Yay Flip!

LOOOOVE these covers! They are super trim, even on a newborn. Yes, they are thin, but that's how they stay so trim. I'm so happy Cotton Babies decided to offer these as a cover-only option because I have plenty of options for inserts (burp rags, old hand towels, etc). I'm constantly amazed that these don't leak despite a quite soft and somewhat "loose" feeling elastic. Something in the way they are designed and the fabrics used keeps them bullet-proof. I generally use only one cover a day--they are perfect to wipe out and reuse. The sizing and shape makes it easy for the inserts to contain the entire mess.

As an avid BumGenius 3.0 user I was searching for a travel option for when I wouldn't be able to wash diapers regularly. I had tried gdiapers, but I wasn't in love, let's be honest I was spoiled by the great fit of my BG's! With a 1 week hotel stay looming over my head I ordered 1 Flip cover and a pack of disposable inserts. My son is 12 months old and has just started walking so he's very active and always crawling, walking, climbing or something. The fit was perfect! So far so good, now let's see how it holds up to leaks...off to playgroup we went. After 2 hours of play we headed out the door and don't you know it he fell asleep on the ride home and didn't wake for 2 more hours. Now we were up to 4 1/2+ hours in this new system we'd never tested. I was sweating bullets when he finally awoke but NO LEAKS! We continued to use the cover for the rest of the day and never had a problem. I was thrilled. So today I will be ordering more covers and disposable inserts for our trip.

My daughter is six weeks old and while I haven't gotten a chance to use the Flip inserts yet, I've been using the covers with Kissaluvs 0s. I tried Thirsties (leaked), Prowraps (aggrivated belly button), Diaperwraps (also aggrivated belly button), Dappi (worked good, so ugly) and these. Flips covers are amazing on a newborn with KL0s. They look comfy, I can get a good fit, and they're cute. I haven't had one leak yet. I hope they work as well with the inserts.

I love these covers! I have been using diaperaps velcro covers until now but the velcro wore out already :( So an internet friend mentioned these so I bought two to try. They are great! I am using standard prefolds with them since I already owned them and did NOT buy any inserts because I needed to save money. With a prefold, they work wonderfully for my toddler! I am not sure I would like them with a prefold for younger babies because of the bulk of having to fold them down but for older babies they are great! Someone mentioned about the flap getting urine everytime they wet....not true! If you use the cover correctly, then you are tucking the insert or prefold UNDERNEATH the flap and the flap is PUL underneat it and leaves a soft fabric to touch the babies skin. So if the insert is underneath where the PUL is, then you should not be getting the flap wet.

Flip diapers are the absolute best! I have tried sooo many diapers, and I cannot stress how these diapers compare! We use these 100% no disposables (daughter is allergic) and we even use these at night with ONE insert and zero leaks yet. We have been using them for months! I LOVE THEM and sold all of my other diapers just so I could buy all of these for my stash! I am getting ready to order more colors now! Yippiee!

This review is just for the covers, although I did just order one of the stay-dry inserts to try. I LOVE this cover! I just started using cloth diapers on my 17 month old daughter. I've been using this cover with prefolds and a snappi and these covers are amazing. Soft and stretchy, great fit (even on a long & lean toddler), wipe out easily, NO LEAKS, and they look cute. :) When I do need to wash one, I just handwash it--that way I can get it washed immediately instead of leaving it in a laundry hamper or diaper pail. These dry quickly even when you hang dry them, and I've been getting by just fine with only two covers to use--by the time I need a fresh one, I always have it ready to go. I'm glad they have snaps, because the velcro on my pocket diapers is already looking pretty ratty and obviously velcro is something that just wears out eventually. I was so thrilled with these covers that I decided to go ahead and give the whole flip system a try...but even if you're an avid prefold/snappi user, you should definitely try out these covers.

I love this diaper! I am a stay at home mother of two and this diaper makes it possible to cloth diaper on a fixed income! The stay dry inserts really do stay dry, my 6 month old has worn them for up to 6 hours during the day and longer at night and has NEVER had a leak! I will admit it did take some time getting used to the snaps but I LOVE the snaps now, they hold really well, the fit is awesome, very trim, easy to clean. There the first diaper I go for! I will be ordering more in YELLOW, so excited! Order this diaper and you wont be disappointed! Thanks cotton babies! Oh I do have one request, a bulk pack of the flip stay dry inserts would be great! Thanks again.

I bought three of these for my daughter who has both an 8 mo. and 5 mo. baby at home. She just started cloth diapering and really loves this diaper cover . Just ordered three more for her . She uses them with the inserts, prefolds, and also flannel fitteds I have been making. Says they work wonderfully with all. Thank you Cotton Babies for this and your free shipping and great service.

I love, love, LOVE this system! I've been cloth diapering for a year and a half now, and was ready to give up on it when my one year old was just too messy and too active for me to want to deal with. These fit PERFECTLY, are so quick and easy to put on and are sooo nice with the disposable liners! Flip, where have you been all my life!!! ;0)

I love these! We started with BG 3.0 OS and I loved those too, except for the velcro, which kept on snagging my very dry fingertips. So the lovely ladies at Cotton Babies exchanged them for these. These are easier to clean and use, especially with the disposable inserts. Even my hubbs uses these. I do have a 2 month old so we like to double the inserts with the stay dry and the disposable for easier clean up and to catch the blow outs with the fitting form of the 2 inserts while our son is still small.

I'm new to CD & I have to say the Flips made it SO EASY for me to switch over from sposies! They are so easy and Daddy friendly (babysitter friendly too)! I can go on and on about how much I love these diapers! I just wish they had some patterns to choose from! But the colors are nice and bright. I didn't have any problems with the shells bleeding. Flip's make CDing a BREEZE. Cotton Babies is great also. Very quick delivery!

I finally get to review this item based on MY child. I bought the day pack and 1 BG 3.0 before my daughter was born. I didn't try them until her cord fell off at 16 days. She weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces and the flip diaper fit on her when I just used 2 stay dry inserts the first week without any leaks. After that she her legs filled better and I switched to 1 insert and still no leaks. I only have 1 BG and I dont like how bulky it is. I absolutely LOVE flips and I have been telling all of my friends and family about them. I can't wait until my inlaws visit. They said to pick out what I want for my birthday when they come..and I'm going to buy more flips! lol

This is my first adventure in CD and as others have said, I would not be doing it if not for flips. My son is 7 weeks old and we still tend to leak into the shell, but in 7 weeks, I've only had 2 -3 leaks out of the entire diaper. I consider this not bad. I am bf, but this son (I have 3 children total) has not started to poo less or less watery. Either way, I think this was a GREAT investment. I bought enough to last us so that we only have to wash every other day - which for us is about 20 inserts and 6 shells. With this amount of washing, I have noticed that our water bill went up $15 and electricity - I'll have to check next month (we had a month of extended live-in help (ie - the in laws!) after the baby was born. Regardless, these diapers are saving us money and do not take a whole lot of extra time of the washing machine. I look forward to using these diapers the whole time.

These are my favorite cloth diapers! I like them better than bum genius because: they have a trimmer fit, they have snaps instead of velcro so poop can't accidentally get "caught" in the velcro, you don't have to touch the dirty part or pull it out of a pocket - just "flip" it out into your diaper pail, and you don't have to wash the whole diaper every time (can reuse the cover many times if clean!). The cover also works well with prefolds, but I prefer the stay-dry insert. I'd recommend these over the many other kinds I've tried.

We love the Flip! We were previously using prefolds but they were so bulky and leaked. We haven't had any issues with Flips. They fit well, are trim, super absorbent, and wash well. I love that they are snaps so there is no Velcro to damage covers in the wash. Definitely a great value, worth the money.

I love the Flip cover with the stay dry inserts mainly because they are great for use and home and WONDERFUL for use with traveling. My 6 month old only needs 1 insert and IF you get the proper fit, the liner has no where to go so there are no leaks. I love using these over the BG AIO or OS because they are less bulky, both in baby wearing them, and in storing them before wash time, as well as packing them in a diaper bag. The liners don't take up any more room than a disposable diaper would. Perfect. I like the velcro on the couple of BG OS I have (use them with a liner doubled up for overnight just to make sure I have enough protection), but I know I don't have to worry about the snaps being replaced like I would for the velcro. The covers are a breeze to wash and dry. You can even do them by hand if you need them in a pinch. I have 3 covers and 24 inserts that I rotate. Then a handful of BG OS for overnight. I'm very glad I chose these as my MAIN diaper for CDing.

these took me a little while to warm upto but now i love them. i wish they had had the new colors available when i bought them! these covers dry very quickly when you hang them and can be reused quite a few times without washing as long as your little one doesnt poop. my lo is 17 months and small but they fit nicely and snugly. i dont know how they would fit on a newborn though

I really love this cover. I actually don't like the inserts that it comes with, but I LOVE using it over a Kissaluvs fitted diaper. The fit is GREAT and I never have leaks with it. I will never use another cover. As for the inserts that go with it, they need to be wider and they need a snap or something to keep it in place.

I LOVE Flip diapers!!! I am getting started very late with cloth diapering....my third child is 19 months. I wish I had discovered it 6 years ago! I read tons of reviews and tried out the Bumgenius all-in-one but wasn't impressed with the velcro (which is already starting to roll up after a few washes) and I didn't like how I had to get rid of the whole diaper every time. With the Flip we are still going to save a ton of money over disposables (as long as she is not potty trained within a few months!) and I will be able to use them again if more kiddos come along. My daughter is 27 pounds with a round belly and the diaper fits great with 2 additional snaps on each side to expand if needed. I have not had a single leak. I use 2 inserts at night which is bulky but during the day one works great and fits well under all her clothes. I have 5 covers and 16 inserts so I only have to wash every few days. I recommend these to everyone now...I just wish I had started cloth diapering a long time ago! I never thought it could be this easy.

BEST cover EVER! If only they came in more colors or even patterns (brown & red PLEASE Jenn?) I wouldn't own any other type of diaper system. Right now I have some Duos covers just for more color/print variety, but I like Flips a lot better. I use yellow-edge GMDs in them for days, and I need to get some organics for nights because I hear great things about their absorbency. (We use 3.0s now, but I prefer natural fibers) DS is 6 months and uses the middle snap-down. These are trim, durable, and look like they'll last through PLing. Love Love Love. :)

OH MY GOODNESS! I just got my Flip diapers in the mail, along with a bunch of the Indian Cotton diapers that I plan to use as inserts... can we all say ADORABLE?! The prefolds fit perfectly into the diapers! I swear, I just about hunted down my cat to try them on something!! I can't wait to use these on my little one when they get here in June!! And did I mention that even with the FREE shipping it only took 2 days to get here?! How awesome is that?!?! Thank you so much for your awesome service! I'll definitely be back to complete my collection once we find out if it's a girl or boy!!!

I have used Flip covers for 4 mo. This is my second review. When I left the first review, Flip only came in Zinnia for girls, so I gave it a 4 because of the limited color choices. BUt now it comes in 3 new girl colors, so I am giving it a 5. No issues, they still work perfect after 4 mo. I keep checking the site every day for more colors. Yes, Jen, we know they are under the clothes and no one sees them, but we'd still love more colors! I didn't like the Thirsties duo. The colors are great, but they didn't fit my baby at all. She is in the 95 percentile for H, and 75 percentile for weight. the outer gusset was cutting into her skin. Please, at least give us the Clementine in Flip! They fit great and they do not stain--what more can one ask for? (Besides more colors LOL) You've thought about everything else Eg. the tag is on the outside, so that the clothes keep dry vs other covers that have inside labels and the clothes get damp from it. THE ONLY REASON I own other brands is because I want more colors. I arrange all my diapers and covers on a shelf in my baby's bedroom and they look so cute when they are all different colors! Great job!

These covers are amazing! I wish that they had come out with them sooner! I had tried the bumkins and bambino mio covers (both leaked HORRIBLY and only came in one-size) before these finally came out and am now so excited that they came out with more colors - I will definitely be buying more! I have been using the Flips for about 4 months now and have yet to have a leak! The only problem that I have had is that a snap came off of one of our covers, but they say that they'll send me a free replacement.

Love these diapers! While they aren't great for my exclusively breastfed newborn they work wonderful on my 24 month old. No leaks and so simple!! I'm really exicted to get a few more of these as my baby gets a little older. A few of the things I love: good price, no leaks, super trim fit. I will definetly be buying more!

I absolutely love these! I was so excited when they came out with all the new colors. :) These never leak. This is a big deal, since disposables leak quite frequently for us (my mom refuses to do the cloth thing when she watches him), and it's nice to finally not have to worry when pulling his pants off for a diaper change if there is also going to be poop all down his leg. My son is tiny, and before these I was trying to use gdiapers, but even the smalls now don't fit my almost 9 month old. His thighs aren't big enough around for them, so I was skeptical on whether these would work for him. Now I'm a believer! If you're wondering if you should buy these or not, do! You won't be disappointed. :)

I reviewed before but I forgot to add something-- this system is amazing, but I think the sizing is way off. My 20-lb 7-month old is still on the smallest setting. I can't imagine this same setting on a newborn. Maybe DS just has a really tiny rise, but he seems pretty average to me. I would get some newborn covers & PFs to use for the first couple of months.

LOVE these. My husband, babysitter and I are all in agreement that these are our favorite covers by far. I use them with prefolds or the inserts and these things are bulletproof. My son has been in the flip system since he was one month old. He is exclusively breastfed and these work great. All messes have been contained inside the cover. I just rinse the insert, which you don't actually have to do being that he is breastfed, wash the cover and hang to dry. This takes me all of 3 minutes. For the pocket diapers I find Fuzzibunz work best, and the snaps stay in a better condition for both Flip and Fuzzibunz than the velcro on other styles.

I switched to CDing because my newborn's bm's were not contained by disposable diapers and have now been CDing for 2 months. I started with the Flip diapers (one set of regular and one set of organic) and I love them. I bought BGs and FuzziBunz as well, but I love that I can use the covers multiple times and use prefolds so they are much more cost efficient. My favorite combo with the Flip covers are the BG inserts in the socks. I only have one thing about these that I don't like and that is that the organic inserts stain every time they get pooped on...it takes about 4 washes and drying in the sun to get the stains faded enough to make me happy.

I have diapered two babies from birth to potty training. With another little one on the way, I decided to try out the Flips on my two year old that is almost potty trained, but not quite. What a great system! I love these. I started cloth diapering primarily in Fuzzi Bunz. Later on I discovered that I preferred prefolds and covers better because the covers didn't have to be washed with every use. The Flips system gives a much trimmer fit than a prefold and cover, the inserts wash up incredibly well, you need fewer shells than you would with a pocket diaper, and you can also use the disposable inserts! Brilliant! These are perfect! I also never liked the one size pocket diapers because they were so hard to stuff on the smaller settings, but you don't have to stuff these, so no issue!

I wrote a review last week and I wanted to add to it. I love the Flip diapers. I started out with prefolds, and decided to make the change to Flip to have the trimmer fit and the stay-dry lining. I recently saw a review in which a mom said that she cut up and stitched her prefolds to make a flip-style insert. What a great idea! I did this recently, and I also bought some thin fleece and cut it to fit the inserts and stitched it to one side to wick away the moisture. I still love the flip inserts better, but this was a great way to make use of my extra prefolds.

I used to use bumGenius 3.0 one size diapers, but decided to try these b/c I didn't like having to mess with the velcro (they'd get stuck together in the wash despite following directions). I was worried they wouldn't be as absorbent, but they are awesome! I use only these style now, and they are easy to use, easy to wash, and quick to dry. I love the snaps and I love that there is no stuffing involved...so does my husband!

I love the Flip system. We've been using them for 2 weeks now (switched from disposables), and I have no complaints. The inserts rinse out easily, and with a single insert they are great daytime diapers, and not bulky at all. His clothes don't even fit differently. The only thing I wish is that they came in more colors. :)

I have been using the Flip system for one week now on my seven month old daughter. This is my first cloth diapering experience and I am confident that I made the right choice with these diapers! I love these! I was using Gdiapers with our first, but I am tired of the velcro sticking to and ruining other clothes, even though I closed up the tabs they would come open in the wash. At first I thought snaps would be a pain, but its not bad at all. I also love that they can be wiped out... my gdiapers would often leak out the liner and get the cloth part wet, which meant washing everything. Since we pay for laundry, this is a big deal! With the flips I can get several uses out of one cover before washing it again. Normally I give them a quick hand washing at night and they are dry the next day. We use infant prefolds inside or ours, and they work great. I love that for less than $150 we will be diapering our oldest at night, our youngest until he is out of diapers, and possibly another baby later on! Also, when we have used disposable diapers on our youngest, he often has his messes go outside the diaper and onto his clothes, but we have never had that happen with the flips! Right now we have 6 covers which is more than enough. I think we will be ordering more though because there are more color choices. All I can say is if you want an economical, easy to use cloth diaper system, Flips are the way to go!

I am totally in love with these diapers! We started out with bumGenius 3.0 but bought a few of these for the diaper bag because they are much less bulky. They are now our primary diapers. I love the snaps. I love that you can use the cloth or disposable inserts. My baby has never leaked in these, whereas we had some leaking issues with the others because she is a heavy wetter, I guess. My only complaint: MORE COLORS!!! :)

I love these diapers! I have a 25 month old and a 7 month old. We plan on having more children and the thought of having 2 in diapers for the next few years was enough for me to want to go to cloth. The same diapers work for both babies. They never leak. When my 7 month old was wearing disposable, he was waking up in the middle of the night soaked. Now I wake him in the morning and his clothes are completely dry! I haven't tried any other brand, but I don't need too. These diapers were reasonably priced to get started. They are easy to care for. Easy to use and work better than disposable! What more could you ask for! I really wish that I had used them from the beginning with my first child.

I looove the flip diaper covers! They are very thin and trim, esp when paired with a bum genius insert. I put the Bum Genius insert into one of the fleece socks (in the diaper accessories page) and lay it into the cover, and we're good to go! I haven't tried the stay dry insert. We were borrowing someone's bum genius, so we tried using the BG insert with the sock and it worked great! I prefer the BG insert/sock and flip cover to the whole BG diaper. Some plusses is that the insert/sock is easier to rinse the poo off of than the BG, since it's smaller and less fabric to deal with. The Flip cover keeps the BG insert in place perfectly. I am new to CDing, so hopefully I helped someone else who is new also! Still trying to get my hubby on board with the whole thing.... lol.

I love my flip cover. I got one just to try it, because everyone raves about them. It's so easy to use, and we've never had a leak with the Flip cover. We're even switching from normal disposables to Flip disposables for going out because Flips work SO well, and they're much cuter. I would love a purple (even though I have a boy, hehe) and a Clementine color, and maybe a tie-dye. Also sometimes there's some weird-looking "stretching" around the snaps (doesn't look nearly as smooth as the pictures of Flips), but not enough to give the Flip any less than five stars, especially since it doesn't affect function in the slightest. Oh and like others, I love how trim the Flips are. Great diaper. The covers are more than I really like to spend for a cover, but they're pretty well worth it.

So happy I went with the Flip System. I was completely new to CDs and decided I would try with my second child. I have been using the Flip System since my daughter was two weeks old and I couldn't be happier. No leaks ever; I was shocked to realize they are way better than disposables. Inexpensive set up compared to other systems; I can't tell you how much money this is saving me. My daughter is 20 lbs and 6 months old and we still have a ton of room before she outgrows them. I bought 3 covers and 14 inserts and it was plenty. They come completely clean in the wash and I didn't have to rinse them until she started solids and now I just dump the bm and wash them. Anyone can use this system!

I have been using these diapers for almost a month, have washed them several times, and have used them in a variety of situations. I find them easy to use and very effective (even DH is able to change these). I decided to move to cloth diapers from disposables after realizing how much waste we were creating and having problems with the new Pamper's dry max. Luckily we have a good cloth diaper store in the Detroit area (No Pins Required) and we were advised to try a few different brands. After trying three different lines we went back to buy more Flips. The covers were the highest quality we used and super absorbent. We use the stay dry during the day and have had no leaks and we use the organic at night with a thin fleece liner (to wick away moisture) and have not had a leak with these either and DS sleeps 12 hours a night. At first I did not think I would like one size diapers, but I am sold. These diapers are great.

I LOVE these and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone! We live have to pay to do our laundry, and we really needed something like the flip cover that can be wiped clean between uses for pee diapers. I just ordered some flat folds to put in them, and they are super trim! I did notice that the newer colors seem to be of slightly better quality than the original ones I bought when they first came out, so that was also good to see! I've never had any "messes" come out of these diapers like they often do with the disposables... I'm so glad to not have to worry about our baby's super messes ruining his outfits!

I purchased these months ago before my son was born. When I received them I thought NO WAY would they work, I was completely non impressed. My son is two weeks old. He weighed 8.6lbs when he was born and they are AWESOME. I use them with the indian prefolds and a snappi (highly recommend one of those too). I have not used the disposable inserts yet, so can not comment on those. But the wraps are great. I purchased 4 wraps and it is plenty so far for the day and night. they wash and dry quickly. I honestly get more leaks with disposable diapers than I do with these wraps. This is my fourth child and third being cloth diapered. I highly reccomend this product. The only thing I did not like was the company claims it is USA made product and they are actually manufactured overseas.

I purchased these covers for my son. He is two years old, tall and 35 lbs. I wasn't sure if they would fit but they do! He still has room to grow into them as well. I purchased prefolds instead of the flip inserts purely for economical purposes. So far we haven't had a single leak, poop stays in the prefolds and they dry so fast you can give the cover a rinse in between changings and it will be dry in time for the next go 'round. My son is a very active supersoaker so anything that can keep up with him is an A+++ in my book! Having just converted from disposables to cloth, this is one of the best decisions I've ever made, and my boy loves them too.

I have a 5 month old daughter who I love to use these on and she has never had a leak despite her skinny legs. I also babysit an 8 month old who this past week she had massive diarrhea blowouts that got on EVERYTHING! I got tired of changing her clothes and cleaning the mess so I just put one of the flip covers over her disposables and it did the trick! All the poop was contained and easily cleaned!

I absolutely LOVE these covers. They fit my skinny minnie really well and I have not had any leaks with them. I use premium prefolds under them for poopy diapers & the stay dry inserts for pee. The inserts are bad for poop, they bunch up and poop gets on the cover, but the inserts are fantastic for pee.

I love these diaper covers! When my LO was small, I didn't like them nearly as much, Thirsties worked better. But I'd say since LO turned about 3 months old, these are GREAT! I use them with a prefold laid inside, and a Bummis Biosoft liner on top of that. We switch back and forth between two covers all day until LO poops, then we usually need to change the cover. For pee, just air drying the damp cover is enough. These are our favorites now! LO is about 17 pounds now. When paired with a prefold, very economical too. I would guess we have about 8 covers and about 40 prefolds, and I do diapers about twice a week.

When I received my Flip cover, I was totally unimpressed. I have been using Bummis and Thirsties covers, but everyone raves about the Flips so I decided to give them a try. However, after giving it a shot with my prefolds, I was sold. They say that you can tri-fold a prefold into the other brands of covers, but they shift around and poop gets everywhere so I end up using a snappi. In this case, I really can just tri-fold the prefold and tuck it under the flaps. The inserts are expensive, but I will continue to use this cover with my prefolds, and probably purchase more as well!

I LOVE my Flips! I use them with stay-dry inserts, organic inserts, the Econobum prefolds, Kissaluvs contours, and fitted diapers and they just work great with everything! They snap up for a trim fit on my skinny little guy who just switched to the medium rise because of his long torso rather than his weight. I love that my sister who poo-poos cloth diapers (no pun intended) because of bulk can not tell the difference between disposable and cloth when my baby is wearing a Flip! I can't seem to stain them and have had no leaks. I also love the colors (I have ribbit and moonbeam)! Can't say enough good about this cover. If this was the first cover I had bought, it would be the only kind I would own!

I bought one of these over the weekend to try at night because my little guy has been leaking and I was pleasantly suprised! I wasn't sure about the product when I looked at it (well made product, just unique), but I figured I'd give it a shot. I used the insert that comes with the diaper and added a hemp babies doubler and my guy woke up with no leaks (which hasn't happened in cloth diapers for a couple months now). He was in the diaper the entire night which is about 12 hours. I am impressed. As long as he didn't have a messy poo, I'm convinced he could have wore the same cover all day with just a change in the inserts. How cool. Thanks Cotton Babies!

We love our flip diapers! I am new to cloth diapering and the flip system is definitely a good way to transition from disposables. These covers are amazing and we have yet to spring a leak, no matter what's underneath them!! I have found that for my kids (14 lb 3 month old and 30 lb 2 year old), I prefer to use prefolds instead of the flip inserts. I have infant size chinese prefolds that I use for my baby (trifolded and then folded down in the front) and sometimes for my toddler (just trifolded... they are the prefect size for the large setting without folding). I use regular size indian prefolds for my toddler (more absorbent!! trifolded and then folded down in front). I have found that the prefolds have less tendency to slide around in the cover than the flip inserts. With my toddler, using the bigger size prefold fills the cover a bit better which means that poop stays on the prefold instead of smearing onto the cover as it tends to do with a flip insert. I do like that the inserts stay dry on top, which is nice for my kiddos sensitive skin, but we've found that prefolds tend to be more absorbent.

I think I would have given up on cloth diapering were it not for these covers! I bought a selection of cloth diaper covers from a local store, and after washing them per instructions they were in horrible shape! Plus, even though I bought according to size they were WAY too tight on my son's body - they left red irritation marks on his waist and legs. So I ordered two of the Flip covers just to see if they would work and oh my goodness do they ever! He's still a newborn, so they're a little poufy on his heinie, but I've only had one leak out the legholes and that was a particularly explosive poop. I'm even just using regular flat-fold diapers (the ones I had bought to use with the other covers) as inserts, and they work just fine. So tonight I ordered three more of these covers, because my husband and I just love them! The only complaint I have is the washing instructions: they say not to use any additives at all, which means I have to wash these separately from all other laundry. Even in baby clothes I add borax and a little tiny bit of fabric softener. So these are a handwash or small cycle alone item. Still, it's worth it! If we go on a long plane ride, I'll order the disposable inserts, as well - what a great idea!

These diaper covers are the best I've seen. They are good quality and hold up well to abuse. I use mine with chinese prefolds and I have not had any leaks. The snaps are easy to use and the fit is wonderful. My daughter is long and slender, so I had trouble with both disposable diapers and all-in-one/pocket cloth diapers. Neither fit her well in the waist and legs. The prefolds can easily be adjusted to fit around smaller legs and these covers adjust perfectly to her waist. These covers have elastic and the PUL is soft to the touch, so they are very comfortable for my daughter to wear and don't leave marks on her skin like dispoables do. I wash my covers in with the prefolds and then let the covers drip dry while I tumble dry the prefolds. Since they don't absorb the water, the covers dry quickly. I have six covers total, but I rarely use more than four before it is time to do a load of prefolds. I'll be ordering the larger size prefolds soon, but these covers will grow with my daughter all the way to potty training and I'm confident that they will last.

We have been using Flip for about a month with our very active 13 month old. We use on outings at night and have yet to ever have a leak. They fit wonderfully over jeans no bulk very trim, well made, no red marks, they wash up well. I either line dry or set them in front of a fan and they dry in no time. I am very pleased with Flip and will be ordering more soon. Can wait to get my hands on the new colors =)

As a mother of 2 small children (ages 4 months and 2 years) looking for a way to save some money we looked into cloth diapering. After hearing from a family member that uses the FLIP system we tried it and are hooked! We have been using the FLIP diaper system for about a month now and it works wonderfully! We do tend to us two stay-dry inserts for the two year old for nap times and first thing in the morning when he is apt to wet more heavily. I really like how easy it is to clean even the poopy diapers. With working full time I could never have imagined being able to use cloth diapers until I found the FLIP diaper system!

I ordered three of the stay dry day packs along with two extra flip covers before my daughter was born based off of the reviews I've looked at and these diapers are wonderful. I have been using them since she was around 2.5 weeks old and weighed around 8 lbs at this time, she will be 6 weeks old in a few days. When she was born she weighed 6.6 lbs and these diapers did not fit they were definitely too big. I only use these diapers during the day and even my husband loves using these diapers. The only problem I have found is that the front and back flaps inside the cover sometimes get damp with urine and I don't feel comfortable just rinsing it out and hanging it to dry I just throw it into the diaper pail and grab another one so the 2 or 3 that people recommend having for a day or two isn't enough. Overall I love these diapers and recommend them to everyone that I know. I can't wait to get a new color!

We have just started using the Flip as a way to save money since things have been a little tight. We wanted to find a cheap easy way to do cloth diapering and this has worked great for us. We have 3 covers, and instead of buying the inserts we use prefolds and flats folded to the right size. we have had no leaks and the little guy has no problems with them. He is 8 months and super mobile. I think in all we ended up spending less than $100 on the whole thing, so if you are looking for an easy cheap solution this is perfect!

I really like this cover--nice fit over regular-sized prefolds (well-shrunk) and a snappy. I've found that laying the diaper in without a snappy leads to a little slippage but it isn't bad. Personally, I prefer use with the snappy. These covers seem to be well-made and I hope that since my toddler will not be wearing these for very long, they will be in great condition for the next baby! I really like the way BG Bamboo Fitteds fit and had wished that a cover was made that had the signature BG fit and so thank you Cotton Babies for coming up with these for those of us who prefer a covered diaper compared to an AIO. Please bring the Bamboo Fitteds back!

Baby is 12 weeks old and they are still working great. He is 17lbs now and they are still working great. I agree that the inserts probably would be messy with poo. As I have tried folding my prefolds into the same shape and it ends up messy. If you use a snappi it works great and i have only had one blow out. they still don't leak overnight. I haven't had an issue with the snaps yet. I wash my wraps in the wash daily. I have four wraps i think if i had 6 total it would be perfect. If you let your diaper get saturated in pee the wrap will smell like pee, I think all wraps would smell like pee. They are thin and light and wonderful wraps, highly recommend them and usually leaks are user error or a big blow out on babies part. I will keep reviewing these as time goes by. So far very happy with them.

We have been using our Flip diapers for about 2 months. We are new to the cloth diaper world and I will say at first I did not like them. My 19 month old son loves to drink milk and water and because of this he needs to be changed often. Once we realized we have to change him more frequently than a disposable diaper I really began to love them. We have 8 covers and 24 inserts. I wash them every 3 days. Our trick is to air dry the cover if it is a little damp and rotate the covers until they smell from urine or they are soiled. I do have a toilet sprayer that I could not live without. At night we double up the liners and we don't have many issues with the diapers leaking. For the cost to start using the Flip System and the money we are now saving because of them I have to say it is worth doing the extra laundry and having to occasionally change the entire diaper due to a bad BM. Our son is already more aware when he needs to be changed, so it will be interesting to see if he potty trains faster than my daughter did.

Love them! I have used them both with the Flip insert and with prefolds. I actually prefer the prefolds for the smaller setting as it makes it a tad more trim. I am so glad that we finally have a fabulous cover for prefolds. Couldn't ask for more.

We love the Flip system. We have 5 covers and 24 stay dry inserts. These are the only cloth diapers we own, and they work great for us. We've used them for our daughter's first three months, and we've had no leaks yet. The covers fit great and the inserts keep our daughter dry. I simply wipe the inside of the cover and replace the insert at each change. I rinse out the soiled inserts and place them in a wet bag until laundry time. I use a very small amount of a regular free and clear detergent and have had no smell issues yet. We wanted a cloth diaper that was easy to use and that would be easy to wash. That's exactly what we got with Flip.

I am a mother of twins who is using the flip covers with standard cotton prefolds. I love the flips!! They are easy to use, fit great, don't leak and they are affordable! I also bought the disposable inserts for traveling and camping. I have found that they just aren't wide enough so I use 2 that overlap and that works great. Last, I just purchased some Flip cover "seconds" to bulk up my Flip supply and I couldn't find a thing wrong! 1 of 6 had a micro tear on the binding, if I wasn't searching for the reason they were seconds I may have never noticed! The other 5 I couldn't find anything wrong! Thanks Cotton Babies for a cute affordable cloth diaper system!

The only diaper that holds it all! I love this diaper! I have tried all kinds and brands of various diapers, that is what happens when you get addicted to cloth:) But I found that these Flips just hold EVERYTHING. The hold the pee and they hold the blowouts. I used these in the beginning with the Stay Dry and they worked well, but then my son just peed more and I switched to the organic inserts with the HempBabies inserts and they do the job even for the heaviest wetter. What I wish though is that the colors would be a little different, I find them boring. I would wish for more patterns. The only reason why I bough the Thirsties Duo Covers was because the nice new patterns or the GroBaby. However I had leaks with all of them:( except the Flips. So if Cottonbabies would quickly come up with some cute prints/patterns I would buy them all despite that I have more than enough:)

So 5 months later. Still loving them. The snaps still work. Still have only 4 (still reccomend 6). The elastic in the back is great. They have all acciently gone in the drier and survived. Best covers ever, and super thin. I think next I will try the inserts, but as of now use the premium indian prefolds and they work great. He is starting to soak though at night, that is why I am thinking of the inserts.. Maybe help with that?? If there are any poor mammas out there, I HIGHLY reccomend these, you will not be sorry. And if they leak on you keep learning all the tricks to cloth diapering cause it is not the wraps fault. I still wish they were made in the US.

I have been using cloth diapers for a couple of weeks now. I got the econobums with prefolds as well as the flip system. I prefer the flip system as it has the little part in front and back to tuck in the inserts. I am really liking the stay dry inserts and I want to buy more to use with my econobum covers as the prefolds are super bulky. The first few days of cloth diapering were difficult to get used to and my little girl broke out in a bad rash after a week and I figured it was because of too much soap. So laundering with less soap has fixed that.

This is an AMAZING diapering system! I haven't had one single leak since using these. I have a 15-mo-old (23lbs), and a 2 1/2 year old (34lbs) that I use these with. The covers and inserts work very well with both kids. (My older only wears diapers when he sleeps, but he loves wearing his blue flip diapers:-) We have been using cloth diapers off and on for 2 1/2 years, and my husband really hated it. He appreciated the money and environmental savings, but it wasn't worth it to him. I purchased 2 flip covers a couple of months ago, and we have both been THRILLED! We both actually enjoy diaper changes now. (I know it sounds silly.) I bought more once I knew we loved them, and I'm excited to try them on my newborn. (Due in a few weeks.) These are so easy that I don't feel guilty making babysitters and church nursery workers use them. You don't even have to touch any wet diapers like you do with pre-folds or fitteds. I just drop the insert into the pail while holding the dry cover, then put a new insert in. Poop comes off really easily too, so that's nice as well. *sigh* I could go on and on... GREAT PRODUCT!!!

I LOVE these covers! I use Osocozy indian prefolds with a Snappi, and this is the first cover I reach for. I have a Bummis, 2 Thirsties, a Gen-Y and a proraps, and this one is by far the best. I had no clue which cover to try, but I have ordered 3 more of these because they are so great! I love that they don't have the white edging like a lot of other covers, all of my others are stained already but these don't stain (or at least you cant see it!) and the snaps are great. Keeps my toddler from taking off her diaper yet it doesn't limit the fit like I thought it might. These are super stretchy too, I never have any trouble getting the prefolds inside. Haven't had a leak yet, and the best part is when you do need to wash them, they dry SO FAST! I love the one size too, I thought it might be bulky but that's not the case at all!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the flip cover! I like that there are two rows of snaps and the stretchy tabs are wonderful. One size covers are notorious for not really working on a newborn..but I started using this when my son was about two weeks old (9 lbs). I use it over a snappied prefold.

I LOVE these covers! I have been using these since my son was 1 week old and 6lbs even!! (As soon as his umbilical stump fell off, we were able to start using these!) I use a prefold with a snappi underneath, and so far have had very few problems! Our only leaks have been user-error related (waiting too long to change him- pee wicked onto his clothes). With him being so small, there are gaps around his legs if we're not careful, but if we make sure the prefold is tucked in properly, there aren't any problems. He is 4 weeks old now- exclusively breastfed- and I'd say we get poop on the cover maybe 1 out of every 3 or 4 diaper changes, which is not bad. Usually, the prefold holds the poop in pretty well. I'm sure we would have more messes if we didn't use the snappi. I encourage anyone with a small newborn to give these a try- it has worked really well for us!

We love this system. I did a lot of research before our daughter was born because I didn't want to spend a ton of money trying out a bunch of different diaper systems. Once her umbilical stump fell off we started putting her in these covers with the stay-dry inserts and have loved it. She's a champion in terms of pee and poo, so I own 10 covers and 35 inserts in order to wash them every other day. I shudder to think about what we'd be spending on disposables. Plus she just looks so darned cute in the Flip! She's 5 months old now and while occasionally we've had a bit of pee leakage, I think that poo only escaped once so far. We have the snaps version and I love them - dealing with the hassles of laundering velcro is not for me.

Okay. I will be honest... I am the skeptic of them all, but I got my first "FLIP" yesterday and had to try it out last night... AND IT WORKED! I used with an ordinary prefold that I have had and not a drop out! That is with an overnight of 10 HOURS! I have tried everything to prevent overnight leaks, and with no luck including the disposables! I am impressed - and frankly - that takes a lot!

We've now been using these diapers for about a year, and I am in LOVE! When we started, I had a just-turned-2 year old and a 4 month old. Now I have a potty-trained 3 year old and a 17 month old...and a baby one the way, who will most definitely be wearing Flips. The diapers are still in GREAT shape, even with almost-daily washings. The snaps are in excellent condition, and the inserts show very little sign of wear. I highly recommend these diapers - they're simple to use, easy to wash & dry, and seem to hold their value quite well.

I LOVE my flips. I used bumGenius and loved them so much I was hessitant to try something else. Now I am trading in my BGs for more flips! These prefolds are the only diaper insert that will keep my daughter dry all night. What a relief!

I decided to go with cloth diapers for my second child. I am so glad I did!!! I absolutely LOVE them! I RARELY have a blowout or leak compared to a disposable. So impressed!!! I've been using the Flip snaps with the both the inserts and Indian prefolds and both work just wonderfully! Haven't tried the disposable inserts but love that they are an option! My daughter is now 8 months and I have been using them since she was 7lbs. I'm so excited that a Cotton Babies store just opened in Vancouver too! Absolutely love this company!!! Excellent customer service!!!

This system is awsome!! We tried traditional cloth diapering and started using disposable. Then afer 4 months of using diaper cream constantly and having blowouts (she is breastfed) not to mention the trash we were throwing away in diapers!! My husband was willing to give cloth diapering another try and HOORAY!! Flip diapers! They contain so well, better than any disposable, and we tried them all. These things rock!

Great cover! I am cloth diapering two kids (4 month old EBF and 2 1/2 year old) and on an extreme budget. I researched and decided to by some of these as seconds. Can't go wrong! I opted to use Econobum prefolds in theses and they fit great! A little bulky but worth the price! With one prefold and this cover both my heavy and not so heavy wetters made it through the night without a single leak! Truly a great cover! And I love the stretch they have in the tabs verse the Econobum cover. (Something that helped me decide which one to go with.)

I have tried sooo many different kinds of diapers and here I am going back to basics thanks to Flip covers! I started out using Flip covers over Cottonbabies Indian Prefolds with my 4 week old and loved it. It can be amazingly expensive to diaper a newborn with how often they need changed and thanks to prefolds and these covers I was able to do it efficiently and economically. NEVER had a leak. I decided to switch to AI2's for my husbands sake for a few months but am still having laundry issues in my hard water even with natural fibers. So I took advantage of the sale on the Indian prefolds and bought a dozen to use trifolded under my Flip covers and boy am I happy! So very trim and so user friendly with the option of hook/loop to the covers. I'm in love! I recommend them to everyone I know. Thanks for such a great product!

I purchased these as well as some ecobum covers on clearance as seconds. And these covers are my favorite! i have tried many brands both in velcro as well as snaps and none have been as good as these! I dont use the disposable inserts, i have paired mine with everything from kissa fitteds to prefolds to hand made diapers (that are super bulky) and these adjust to fit well over anything! have never had a leak! plus none of mine are stained, which isnt too much of a concern for me just an added bonus! now that my girl is growing out of her thirsties yet again i am purchasing a few more of these covers! i am a big fan of snaps over velcro, my girl has sensitive skin and if the velcro even touches her she rashes, i know velcro is faster but it also wears out faster and i did cloth diapering to save $ so i plan on using these for a few more babies!

These are the BEST diaper covers we've tried yet (and we've tried several!). I purchased some stay-dry inserts and do not like them, but the covers work beautifully with our pre-folds. The hook and loop material is good quality, the snaps are heavy duty, and the cover material is far less bulky (even on the smallest setting) and doesn't hold odors like some other covers do. I was concerned that they didn't have a gusset at the legs, but we've been using them for several weeks with NO LEAKS!!!! Flip also got it right by putting the tag on the outside! I had cut all of the tags off of my other covers because our baby constantly had a wet spot on her back due to the tag soaking up wetness and transferring it to the back waistband. I was going through 4 diaper covers a day before getting the Flip cover. Now one cover lasts for days (I don't do that, but I could!). Don't waste your money on any other diaper cover!

We are going on 10 months of constant use of the flips. We use ours with prefolds and are now in the premium largest size indian prefold. These WRAPS are WONDERFUL!! Snaps still work perfect. Elastic is still perfect. I finally purchased more for my stash and now have 7 wraps, a much better number than 4. Still wishing they were made in America. WISHING FOR A PATTERNED ONE :)

I LOVE these covers! OK, so we've had them with my Indian prefolds for a little over a week, but no leaks or blowouts (and my baby is known for some pretty significant blowouts!). The only reason I didn't go with the Flip inserts was the cost of the inserts vs. cost of prefolds. I do a bikini/twist fold and snappi it pretty tight around her legs, and the cover fits really well over it, and she's able to move. My prefolds are pretty thick and bulky when I just tri-fold them and tuck them into the Flip cover, but it still holds in wet and poo pretty well that way. I haven't met anyone yet who didn't like the Flip covers, and trust me, I've showed them off quite a bit!

We started out with newborn size prowrap covers and then moved into flips. And you do not need any other kind of cover in your stash (except wool at night if you have a heavy wetter). I love the colors, the quality, and how durable they are. The stretchy tabs helps extend the life of the PUL. If you are pinning or snappi'ing prefolds around baby it might be harder to tuck all of the diaper into the cover, but it is do able. It works best with a econobum or flip inserts rather than a standard prefold. I've also used flats folded like an insert and that's one of my favorite things to use.

I have one Flip cover and have been using it with my 7-month old for 4 months - I LOVE it! It is stretchy & soft and the leg gussets work great to contain the diaper messes. I have had to deal with leaks only a handful of times. The cover washes well and dries quickly. Sometimes I will spot wash by hand - no problems. The snaps and seams seem durable. I primarily use the Flip with prefolds during daytime. The Flip is the cover I reach for first, then econobum, then other brands (I also have Bummis). My one lament is that occasionally I have trouble fastening the double row of snaps on a wiggling child - but who doesn't struggle with that at some point? - and that's why I like to have some covers with aplix in my stash (those also can be fitted more accurately). I highly recommend this product! And what a great price!

I have used cotton babies to purchase a dozen prefolds, a Flip cover and 2 Econobum covers, all seconds/clearance. The Flip cost about as much as the two Econobums and I still like the Flip better. The elastic in the back works better at holding in messes when my daughter is sleeping than the Econobum. The way the Flip holds the prefold in place (with the front and back flaps on the inside) also beats the Econobum--even though the Econobum comes with a prefold and these come with an insert! Cloth diapering has been all about saving money for my husband and I; since we got these covers with some cheap prefolds we are doing way less diaper laundry than when we had the bumGenius pocket diapers. We quit using our BG 3.0s when my daughter became talented at removing anything with hook& loop, and we replaced them with covers and prefolds just to save money over the 4.0s. It's worked well for us. I recommend these covers to EVERYONE, and I always tell them to use cottonbabies because of their GREAT customer service and FAST FREE shipping!

LOVE these covers. They are roomy enough to accomodate a more bulky diaper since I have to double diaper. My daughter is a very heavy wetter and these hold up fabulously. She has a trim waist and skinny legs and theses still fit great. I cannot recommend these enough. And I use them with a folded flat diaper so they accomodate pretty much any system you want to use. I must say I prefer the snaps to the velcro. They seem to hold up better and are in such small increments you can get a snug fit without issue. Truly a fabulous product!

I was surprised that these diapers did not leak overnight for my toddler. I am awaiting baby #3 to arrive and I decided to try these at night on my daughter to see how absorbant they are. Turns out, they are really really absorbant! I also tried Bumgenius (also great but not as easy to use). I like that the inserts just lay inside the cover and they fit really well (even though she is 33 lbs!!) I have no doubt these will be my diaper of choice with the new baby. Very happy!

Love 'Em! We bought two of these to try since our daughter outgrew the size 1 Thirsties covers. I must say, I wish we had used these from the beginning. They are soft and well made and have laundered well so far. The hook and loop allows for an exact fit around the waist and these covers do not gap in the front like Thirsties do. I like the interior flaps in front and back that prevent the diaper from peaking out and wicking to baby's clothes. I'm not one for fancy folding techniques and snappis, and with these I can tuck a tri-folded prefold under the flaps and be done. We can even use these overnight with just a prefold and a hemp doubler. They are a much roomier cut than the Thristies and hence a little bulkier under clothes, but it's worth it for better protection. You really can use one cover all day.

These are my favorite cover. We use mostly BG OS or BG AIO so I was a little hesitant to try something different but I stumbled across a great price on seconds and decided to give them a try. These have never leaked. They're great since they have the front and back pocket. I just slide an indian prefold in and put it on. No snappi or anything and it works great. I don't have any of the flip inserts so I can't speak for them, but this cover has replaced thirsties as my number one go to cover.

I have been a fan of cottonbabies since I was pregnant and have purchased most of my diapering supplies here. But I only tried the flip diaper cover within the last few weeks as my daughter edges closer and closer to 2-years-old. Up until now we've used primarily an Indian prefold, liner, snappi and Lite Wrap cover. Now only one caretaker with advanced carpal tunnel uses that system (she has trouble with snaps). Everyone else folds the prefold in thirds, slaps on a liner and goes with the flip cover. I have four with snaps and I love them. LOVE THEM. I love how stretchy they are, how easy it is to use the prefolds without a snappi and how much more absorbent those diapers are when folded up like this. She seems more comfortable too and diaper changes are so much faster and easier (and I am a diaper changing champion). I was initially concerned about the lack of a double gusset but we have yet to have a blowout. I do recommend having a few on hand in case they get soiled, but other than that all I can say is "this is my favorite diaper cover yet!"

I have been using the Flip diaper cover for a year now, and love it! No problems with leaks, the fit is good. We mainly use it with prefolds and a fleece liner during the day, and at night I double with prefolds and a flip stay-dry insert. I have tried only a few other diapers, but I don't really have to try a bunch of different ones to find one better, because I really like the Flip.

I have been using these covers for almost 2 years on 2 children and they are unquestionably my favorites. I actually got rid of my Thirsties and Bummis covers and use these almost exclusively (although I liked the Econobum on my newborn--it was trimmer when she was tiny). I agree, though, with the other reviewer who said that these might not last through multiple children. I just threw one away because one of the snaps pulled out, and I think another will do that soon. I will be replacing the elastic in all of mine shortly, but even with the new elastic I think I'll be lucky if they last until my second potty trains (she's 17 mos now). Even so, I liked these covers so much that if we have another child, I would buy Flip again.

I have tired many different diaper systems from pockets, AIO, and different covers and prefolds. I found these diaper covers and I fell in love! I have twins and this diaper cover rocks! I use it with a prefold or flat folded inside, no snappi necessary. I have never had a leak, no even with runny breastfeed poo. I will say that my girls did not fit in this cover until they hit about 10/11lbs. But my 37lbs toddler still wears a diaper to bed a night and the cover still fits him. I love the soft fabric and the elastic never leaves red marks on my kids skin. I am expecting our 4th child and I plan to use these covers with that baby as well. Thanks Cottonbabies!!

These are excellent diaper covers. I have these in both snaps and hook and loop closures. I really love hook and loop closures but hate that they don't hold up over time. Using the Flip covers with hook and loop is not so bad because you don't have to invest as much money. They almost never leak. I also like that you don't have to use the Flip inserts if you don't want to. I can use prefolds in a newspaper fold and it works great. The colors are beautiful as well. This is the best diaper cover I've ever used.

Super product!!! I use this cover with prefolds and flip stay-dry inserts. My 2 month old has been using these since she was 9 lbs. I didn't buy seperate newborn covers and was worried about how they would fit on my baby, but they really fit newborns!!! They were bulky at first, but fit and functioned. I use these as my night time diaper also (as well as the Bumgenius diapers) and have never had a leak!

I love using the flip system when going out. It's a lot less bulky to carry one cover and a couple of inserts than the regular BGs at home. They are also a bit more generous in size; seems roomier around the thighs so might be good for my chunky baby. :) I only wish the artist series prints were available to Flip covers. I love the prints!

The colors are gorgeous too, exactly like the color on the screen shows. Im probably going to buy more to replace the other brands i dont like as well. I got my Flip cover as a seconds and was very impressed. I couldn't see anything wrong with it. I prefer this cover over my Econobum. It is a little thicker and the flaps help hold the prefold ( I don't have any inserts) in place during wiggly diaper changes. They are bulky for a small baby, but I haven't had any leaks. I'm sure the inserts make the diaper trimmer. Overall, this is a great cover. Some of the threads are starting to unravel, but it was a seconds and I use it everyday. I would definitely recommend this cover to anyone who likes using prefolds and covers. This is my favorite cover in my stash.

I love the Flip cover! I have been cloth diapering for a little over a month and use mainly prefolds and covers. I bought 2 Flip covers and a couple others. I thought I would prefer the covers with the leg gussets just based on reviews but I was wrong! The Flip cover fits my chunky little boy perfectly! The fabric is soft and doesn't dig into his thighs and I love the fact that they will last as he grows. Very simple and a great investment, can't wait to get more!

I love these covers!!! When we brought our son from the hospital we were using the sposied the hospital gave us to take home. After about a week baby started peeing more and with each diaper change I had to change his clothes because they would leak. I also started seeing the gel on my baby's skin, and that really made me mad. We decided to try cloth. I had some other covers to try but I didn;t kilr them because they were so thick and hard because of the velcro. At 2 weeks we drcided to give flip with a flat a try, and we never looked back!!! the cover nevr leaked for us, even that the cover didn't close all the way at the leg, because it was a little too big, it still worked great!!! We love flips, my husband thinks they are the best too!!!

Even if I need to use a disposable I put one of these covers over the disposable because otherwise I get leaks from the night time disposables! This has been the best thing in my stash I use these for nap time with an econobum insert and at night I ad a bumgenius stay dry insert on top and a hemp babies insert on bottom for extra absorbency. Have never had a leak during naps or at night if I use this cover. ALL other diapers I have tried at night and at naps have leaked (even disposables)!

We started cloth diapering our son at 2 months old when he finally fit into diaper covers (he was tall and skinny, so they leaked out the top before 2 months). We got a variety of covers including Thirsties but the Flip fit our son the best. We've never had a pee leak, but have had one or two minor poo leaks since he's breastfed and they are pretty runny and explosive. Since our son has a long torso and is pretty skinny, the long rise of the Flip diapers (even snapped on the shortest setting) worked so much better on him than the other brands we tried. He's now 4 months old and I've ditched the other covers and purchased more Flips. We even have some AIO's that still don't yet fit him (they leak out the top) because they don't cinch as closely at the waist as the Flips. We wash twice a week and so far they seem well made. I've been extremely happy with them and am excited that they should fit him for a long time. We mostly use prefolds in the Flips, but have been happy with the inserts that came with the covers. They are less bulky and do seem to wick away the moisture better than the prefolds.

I absolutely love these things. It's pretty much all I use with my 20 month old super wetter and I can't even remember having a leak. After trying all sorts of things: bamboo prefolds, hemp bigger weeds, microfiber inserts, regular Chinese prefolds, etc. my FAVORITE thing to put in these is a good old organic cotton flat pad folded! I fold it with a bit more fluff up front for my boy and it is bulletproof. it washes so easily and dries fast. I wish I had just started out with 8 covers and maybe 1 1/2 dozen flats (I used the 27x27) when he was smaller but now I use the larger GMD or Little Lions ones. That's ALL I use now in my stash except for a couple of BUmgenius 3.0 that I use just because I have them. I think it's easier to swish out flats and you can reuse the flip covers. I don't reuse if they've had poop but if it's just urine I rinse it out really quick in the sink and hang dry. It only takes a couple of hours probably before the next diaper change. Oh PS they are trim too.

When my daughter was born, we used Bum Genius Elemental 4.0 diapers. I absolutely loved the snap system (so that you only buy one size and they adjust with the baby AND they hold fast!) but I wasn't happy with how they washed up. I felt they needed to be washed a bit more gently than other diapers because the cover, liner and soaker layers were all sown together. You also have to dry them on a lower setting to not ruin the waterproofness of the cover (which makes drying them take a long time). With how pricey AIO diapers are, I wanted them to last as long as possible so I took these precautions. But after 6 months of this, I began researching some other options and decided to switch to organic prefolds and Flip covers. I could NOT be more happy with this new setup! We bought 30 Bummis Organic Unbleached prefolds "Baby size" for our 7 month old (best organic option out there!!) and Flip covers. I love that I can wash the prefolds as thoroughly as I need to and then dry them on the hottest setting for added sanitation. And I also love that I got to keep using the same GREAT snaps design of the Bum Genius cover in the Flip design. (One size cover for the baby's entire diapering life!!) With snaps, I never have to worry about cleaning out Velcro/hook and loop, or worrying that my baby will take the diaper off. =) As long as it's only a wet diaper, we reuse the same cover a few times before washing. At that point, if you want, you can even hand wash it quickly in the bathroom sink and let it dry (only takes a few hours). The tabs on each end of the Flip cover are also great because you don't have to use safety pins or snappies to keep the prefold on. The cover does that for you! I absolutely LOVE this setup and highly recommend it to anyone!! Our personal setup right now is 30 prefolds and 6 Flip Covers. I wash one load of diapers every three days (and the covers as needed).

I purchased 3 Flip: One-Size Diaper covers when the buy 1 get 1 free sale was on. So I have 6, noodle colored, hook/loop covers. Thankfully, I LOVE THEM! The noodle color is an off white/yellow/tan, very gender neutral. I am a huge fan of Econobum covers/inserts and these, in my opinion, are very similar! The Econobum inserts fit quite nicely, which was a concern of mine since I recently bought 24! They hold everything in but don't leave nasty red marks on my baby's chunky legs. Seem durable, water proof, not too bulky. However, I do not think I'd use it for a newborn..definitely not with the Econobum insert. With another baby due in April I will most likely purchase an actual newborn size for the right fit. Over all COMPLETELY SATISFIED!

I love using these diaper covers! I used to have a lot of problems with pooh escaping up the back and out the legs of my son's diapers. When I swiched to using Flip diaper covers, I was very happy and relieved to find out that my days of trying to scrub pooh out of my son's clothes were over. They do a great job of keeping the pooh in the diaper. Also, once he began wearing cloth diapers, the diaper rash disappeared. I highly recommend the Flip diaper covers.

I purchased mine when they were on sale, and I love them. I prefer the snapped to the Velcro because I got a better fit on my babies bum. They contain messes really well, and I Have never had a blout in these like I.have had with disposeables. FYI if you are looking to purchase the hook and loop ones, they have the laundry tab on the back inside of the cover, and it touches babies skin. I really like these covers. I love that they automatically keep the prefold (or insert if you use them) inside the cover, without peeking out. They are not tight at all around the legs - and I have a baby with chunky legs! However, they still contain all of her blow-outs. Great cover for a great price!

This is my 2nd review of the Flip Hook&Latch, Noodle color cover. It has been a few months and I still really like these! The elastic has not stretched out, the color is still night, and the one-size snaps still do their job! My ONLY issue is with the velcro, it gets dirty by collecting any lint, hair, etc. in the washer/dryer. Also, strings are starting to come off. But, I may be doing something wrong or I may just prefer all snaps.

I have tried several different cloth diapers and covers. I've also tried several different kinds of disposable diapers (for overnight). Flip covers (along with indian prevolds or birdseye flats) are my absolute favorite! We've had plenty of leaks with other diapers and diaper covers, plenty of poop blowouts with disposables. But either of those with a Flip cover is VERY rare. In my current stash for my 8 month old, I have about 10 Flip covers, 4 Econobum covers, 4 large (yeah... large) bumgenius 3.0 AIOS, 4 bumgenious 3.0 one-size pockets, and 3 eBay cheapies. After every wash, I go through the Flip covers first. This is how much I like Flip covers: Before my daughter was born, I was convinced I would prefer Bumgenious AIOs so I bought about a dozen of them. I started cloth diapering when she was 2 weeks old (as soon as her umbilical cord fell off) I had sold all of the AIOs by the time she was 6 weeks old (and bought more Flip covers with the money).

I have tried several covers and these are by far my favorite one!!! It truely fits NB to toddler. I was able to use these at the smallest setting for my 7 lb 10 baby. I waited till her umbilical cord fell off and these worked just fine. Wish I knew that b/c I wouldn't of bought XS & S covers. These also work great over fitteds too. I use prefolds during the day and normal fitteds at night time with these covers. These are so awesome that I sold all my other covers and got every color of the Flip covers!

OMG! I just got these covers and I absolutely love them. I am cloth diapering my first baby so I am new to this. I also have Thirsties covers and I love these ones so much more! They look sooooo cute on my little one's bum. These are the best covers and the colors are super cute. Can't say enough good stuff about these covers.

I love these covers! We have been using them since my son was 1 year old(he is now almost 3 and potty trained, but we still use them at night) and have never even wanted to try pockets because they are so great. We use a prefold folded into thirds inside of the cover and it works great. These have contained many messes that even disposables would have leaked. At night we use these with a prefold and a hemp doubler in the middle and rarely have a leak even at almost 3 years old. They still look great after 2 years of washing twice a week. I will definitely be buying these again for baby #2.

After a years use, I am finally writing a review on my Flips.... These are my main, go to diaper cover. I bought my first one about this time last year, and I now have a total of 6. All still going strong. I have never had a leak with these! I mainly use pad folded flats and trifolded prefolds as inserts. I have not had to change the velcro out yet, and the elastic is still doing well (i hang dry all my covers)... I am glad they are coming out with patterns now, I plan to get some if when i have another baby :)

I love love love my Flips! These are the only covers I own and if I should ever need more in the future, I guarantee I'll be buying more Flips. These started fitting my son before he was 2 weeks old and he's only just moved up to the medium rise setting now at 7 months old and 24 pounds. I can see these fitting him until potty training easily. Excellent fit, trim, and gets the job done. I very rarely get leaks with these. Plus, you have to love the cute colors!

I LOVE the Flip covers! I started using them on my 20 lb. 1 yr. old with Econobum prefolds after my Bumgenius pocket diapers wore out. They are much more affordable than pocket diapers and I plan on using these with my second child too! I do not use a Snappi and have never had a leak. I recommend snaps as the Hook & Loop wear out faster.

These covers are amazing! I swear by them and am always recommending them for people to use. Perfect with anything underneath them. I do wish they were just a bit more narrow between the legs. When I use them with the Flip stay dry insert, I notice that the cover can easily come in contact with my daughter's skin. The double row of snaps is also really really nice. We offset them so that the legs fit more comfortably on my daughter's legs but we can still get the waist tight enough to keep the cover on.

Wonderful cover, I like it best paired with an Econobum prefold. Very absorbent and rarely leaks. The color selection is great. Much more economical in value compared to an AIO such as bumGenius as well.

I love these covers and how versitile they are! you can use what ever you want on the inside not just the flip inserts. I use then with the flip inserts, snappied prefold or flat or a tri folded prefold or flat. I love the flaps on the front and back inside that hold everything in place. I have never had a leak or blow out with these even with out the leg gussets. ( i have had a blow out with thirsties however and that is the only cover i own.) I have 4 thirsties and 6 flips. The only this i didnt like was that my babe is just mow starting to fit into the flips and she is 4 1/2 months old. so for a newborn i would recomend thirsties duo but after that the flips.

Awesome cover. I used with prefolds and found myself reaching for these first all the way to potty training. They fit from about 11 pounds. They are on baby 2 and still look practically new. I tried the disposable inserts but they didn't work for us. But as a cover alone this is top notch.

LOVE the Flip system! Paired with a stay-dry insert along with a small newborn insert and my 1 year old stays dry all night with no leaks! It's the only one that has worked. While traveling I tried the disposable inserts and it worked out great- it was easy to slide out the soiled insert and stick a new one in quickly despite a very wiggly baby! I rinsed the used cover in the hotel at night and it dried by morning- perfect! And with the buy 2 get one free offered on this site, it's a very economical cloth diapering choice!

I absolutely the LOVE the Flip diapers!! I switched to cloth because my almost-2-year-old was still in diapers when our newborn came along. I love that I can use the same diaper covers for both my boys due to the snaps that size them correctly. I was able to use the Flip diapers on my newborn at 2 weeks (he was 9 lb. 14 oz. at birth). I love how they wash up so nicely and are so simple to use. I also like that I don't have to worry about them leaking through (unless I wait too long to change a diaper) and making cute outfits dirty. Thanks for these wonderful diapers!!!

I love Flip covers! Im new to cloth diapering and flip covers paired with Indian prefold works amazing! Our daughter is been in cloth about a month and have yet to leak. They fit so well and have the flap in the back so the insert or prefolds stays in place. There a great quality and good price. I only wish we would have cloth diapered from the birth of our son to now! Thanks for a great product. o I order 3 new covers today it's like a addiction.

I LOVE this diaper cover! My four week old son has worn them since day five with no blowouts or leaking, even though he is only currently 9 pounds 12 ounces. We use them with CottonBabies Indian prefolds, flat or trifolded. I have eight Flip covers and 36 prefolds that I wash every other day, using a Planet Wise diaper bag to store dirty diapers in, and so far have never run out. These covers are an excellent investment as I have watched my sister-in-law struggle with the less expensive Whisper diaper cover. You won't be disappointed in buying these!

When I decided to start cloth diapering my son I did lots if research over several days. My initial investment was small. Just a couple of Flip covers, a couple of prefolds, and a couple of inserts. After about the third day I was a cloth diapering addict! Flip diapers are AWESOME! I haven't had a single wet leak. I prefer them with a stay dry insert but they work well with prefolds. I have purchased several more and LOVE them. I recommend Flip to anybody that is interested in cloth diapering!!

I'm in love with flip covers! I have 5 of them in hook and loop, and 6 BG 4.0s. I always reach for these. I usually use the regular size chinese prefolds with them, since my son was a few weeks old. He is 3 months now and already 18+ lb. I can adjust and fold the prefolds as he grows, and they always stay in the cover, and it holds everything. I also use small indian prefolds, flip stay dry inserts, and home made fitteds. They just work with pretty much anything you want to put in them. I would recommend these to anyone wanting to cloth diaper. I thought the 4.0 would be easier and just better, but they do not last for me all night with both inserts in, like a prefold does. :)

I absolutely love the flip system! I have several colors in snap closure. They are well constructed and the colors stay vibrant even after several washings. I have tried other systems but this one is superior to everything else I've tried! It is so easy to switch out the inserts and they contain poop, even the runny stuff, and I have never had a leak! My LO is almost 2 and uses them all the way unsnapped in the rise but still has plenty of growing room. I use them with the Flip organic inserts primarily, but have also used prefolds and flats in them. Anything works in these! The only two things I would like to see is a sturdier back flap and covers in prints :) Overall, this is an amazing product and if you are on the fence about it, go for it, I'm sure you will love it!

We have been using the Flip covers since our daughter was just a couple weeks old and now that she's 10 months, we still LOVE them! I've never had a problem with leaking or containing the poop. We use them with the newborn prefolds during the day and the econobum prefolds with a hemp liner at night and it does the trick. I love how I can customize the fit too. We usually have the legs a snap bigger than her waist. They fit well under her clothes too. I recommend them to all my friends considering cloth diapers.

Wow! I ordered these covers beacuse they are on sale. I felt I needed some color beacuse when all your covers are the same it can be hard to tell how fresh they are. :) LOL So I decided to get some of these. They came quick with the free shipping as always! And I have to say, I am so impressed. I have been a big econobum fan. I have used the covers with both the econbum prefolds and indian cotton prefolds in the smaller size for my 8 week old baby. She is starting to get a little big, and I had been starting to use the econbum prefolds with a snappy in the econobum cover, and knew I need to get either standard size indian prefolds or econbum prefolds. But when these covers came in the mail today, and I saw the great quality, I knew I had to put them on her right away! With the little tabs across the top and back, the econobum prefold fit the short way fit in perfectly, and with the snug fit of the tabs, with the elastic, I no longer feel the need to snappy! With the econobum, I was always having to make sure, everything was tucked in well.... and often, my husband, would have prefold sticking out at the legs, and sticking out the back. I think these will be very Daddy friendly! I ordered more today. My only complaint, is I tried to order gender nuetral colors, and what seemed like, light blue, and peach etc, when they came with out the brighter colors between them on the chart just seemed like a blue and green etc. So I order new ones in girly colors. They are cheap enough, if we have another baby and it is a boy, I won't mind buy a couple more covers. :)

ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY FLIP COVERS!!! I bought Flip, Econobum, and Rump*a*rooz covers and Flip wins hands down! My son didn't really fit into them till he was about 10lbs but since he's been in them we have only had one minor poo incident(a tiny bit leaked out of the prefold but the cover kept it from leaking onto his clothes. They fit well, not too bulky, and look cute all for a great price!

My daughter is 4 and she has been using Flips covers with Indian Prefolds since she was 18 months old (the original covers she had were velcro from a different company and wore out quickly) without any issues at all! The covers still look brand new! No staining, no issues with the snaps, etc. My daughter is not gentle when undoing the snaps in the morning to take her diaper off, so they hold up well. She now only wears anything for bedtime so I have moved to the Flips Trainers as of this week and she is doing well!

These are a well-made, well-fitting cover. I love it that they are versatile enough that you can use whatever type of insert you like. I personally prefer prefolds over the thick Stay-Dry insert, because they dry quicker, and I think they do not hold in a bad smell as much because all the layers can be washed cleaner. I use infant size Indian prefolds and love them. They fit perfectly in the cover at the medium setting, and I plan to keep using them even on the largest setting, since I don't think it should matter if they are a little short at the back. I also like it that you can reuse the cover, making it cheaper and less to store in your diaper storage drawer. It is true, the poop does get onto the cover, so I do always need a new cover after a messy diaper. I recommend Flip covers to any mom who is researching cloth diapering!

I bought my three Flip covers when they were 3 covers for $27.90. It was less than a dollar more than the Econobums which reviewers were saying were thinner and less sturdy than the new Flips (the older batch had some complaints but it looked like they troubleshooted the bugs). I must say I am extremely impressed. If you like the one-sized versatility and fit of the bGs, you will love the Flips cover. The Flips has gentler leg elastic than the bGs and yet leaks less (from my experience). It is pretty breathable for a plastic cover. It is quite sturdy and bulletproof, as reviewers have said. My baby has chewed on these covers with her new razor sharp teeth and they have no leaks whatsoever. The snaps are holding up great, with no signs of wanting to pop out. The flap in front is nice, however, I do have a problem with the back flap. So far it does nothing, and is just one more thing that can get wet. It would work way better if the back flap was elasticized to keep the prefold in place. I have suggested this to cottonbabies and I hope they can figure it out. The PUL in the Flips covers seem thinner than bGs but I don't mind, I feel like it is not as sweat inducing. Flips covers have converted me to a prefold lover, and I used to exclusively use bGs. These covers work great with a trifolded prefold or a hemp insert for a VERY trim fit. My baby is breastfed and I don't mind not snappying her diapers closed because 9/10 poop won't get on the covers if you have a really snug fit, which is made possible due to the gentle leg elastic. It's also not hard to rinse poop off these covers. I don't personally handwash and reuse them, I just throw a rinsed pooped-on cover into the diaper pail, but I'm sure hygienically it wouldn't be a problem, due to the simplistic and ingenious design. There is nylon at the top to reinforce snaps, which is great but if poop gets under there obviously you shouldn't reuse the cover. I find the nylon gets a little damp and you must wipe down the cover and air it out until the next diaper change, so I recommend having at least three on hand. 6-8 covers and 20 prefolds should be enough to cloth diaper exclusively though. I must say, if I'd have known that prefolds with Flips could be so easy, I wouldn't have taken home so many Huggies samples from the birthing center, and cloth diapered from birth!

I have been using the Flip covers with an infant sized Indian prefold for the past 4 months. (My baby is 4 1/2 months old.) And if I knew then what I know now, I would have just bought 10 or so Flip covers and 24 infant sized prefolds and cloth diapered my baby for just under $200. I am just folding the prefold and placing it in the diaper cover for a nice slim fit and I have not had any problems with leaks. I used a snappi with an angel fold and jellyroll fold when she was smaller and still had no leaks. I am using the bumGenius 4.0s for nighttime so she will feel dry, and I love the 4.0s for that reason. Both are wonderful products.

This is my go to diaper! The Flip covers paired with an Econobum prefold is my favorite combination. I have Flip stay dry inserts as well but they've started smelling very badly so I switched to prefolds and prefer them. The prefolds do better for us because they hold more in since I have a heavy wetter. My only complaint is I wish there were more prints and maybe even a few more colors. (I'd love a bright, fire engine red!) I have a boy so therefore they really only have one print for me bc I'm not going to put Lovelace on him (entirely too girly for my tastes for a boy). Overall, great system! The only thing that really works for us. My husband even loves these and he was completely against cloth when I first started and now he swears by cloth! {LOVE that!!!}

LOVE these! After ten years of cloth diapering, I have to say, Flips are my favorite daytime diaper cover, hands-down. (I use homemade wool covers for night for my heavy wetter.) I do not recommend the stay-dry inserts, though..they get stinky fast, shift around, and don't hold a lot. I pair these covers with pad-folded cotton flats or indian prefolds. So soft and absorbent! :)

Love these covers! I've also used econobums and gdiapers and these are by far my favorites. A great perk is how versatile they are - you can use the Flips inserts, which work fine, or a cotton prefold (the infant size Indian prefold folded in thirds fits perfectly), or make your own flannel inserts (which I am SO doing for Baby #2!). Or if you want, use a fitted or snappi a prefold and cover it with this cover. As baby grows and changes, your preferences may change - and this cover can do it all. My boy is now 30 lbs, tall and slim, and these covers still work great using the large rise and the medium waist snaps. (A word to the wise - buy the covers with snaps, not velcro - velcro wears out, snaps don't. I worried that they wouldn't be adjustable enough with snaps, but they are just fine - and after a year of hard use, the one I have with velcro is starting to show signs of wear.) The best thing is that not only are they pretty economical to begin with, but you also don't have to have nearly as many as you would if you went the all-in-one route. My boy is 20 months and goes through about 1 cover a day, because as long as he doesn't have a massive gooey poopy, the cover can get reused indefinately. Now, as an infant, he went through more like 4 a day, since every diaper change was poopy, but if for some reason I was running out of covers, it really wasn't that big of a deal to rinse a few of them out in the sink. They would be totally dry in just a couple of hours - less if I hung them outside. I highly recommend these - they are well worth the money.

These are the best covers. I was not inclined to use the all-in-one diaper, and they were a bit cost prohibitive. This gives you the luxury of AIO, with a fraction of the cost. I used a different brand of diaper inserts, but they work beautifully. I tried a lot of different covers, and these are the best. Husband, grandparent friendly too. Husband thinks they are easier to use than disposables! The covers will stain inside over time, but this is to be expected. I wish I had used them from the start, I bought a lot of smaller sized covers, and realize now, if I had bought these first I would have needed them!

We really love our Flip cover, and just ordered 2 more after trying one out for more than a month. It has held up well, washes well, fits well. Our guy started wearing it around 4 months, 25" and 14lbs and it fit very well. He's now 6 months, 27" & 17lbs and can still use the smallest rise setting. We have used prefolds (also ordered from cottonbabies) and kissaluv fitteds underneath. We just expanded our stash to also use MEOS fitteds and Flip Stay Dry inserts to use with this cover as well. Our guy is a seriously heavy wetter, and anything that has fleece around the legs always leaks out, eliminating a good amount of cloth diaper options for us. This cover is fantastic! I can use this cover through several diaper changes because it's easy to wipe off the inside as necessary before putting back on the babe. For the price, it's certainly worth giving this cover a try!

I absolutely LOVE my flip covers. They fit my son wonderfully and I have NEVER had a problem with leaks even when his diaper is soaked, which was a major problem I had with the Fuzzibunz I was using. The snaps are very strong and durable! I have had great success with them over prefolds, hemp inserts, and some fitteds. My one and only complaint is that, as previous reviews have stated, the leg elastic does relax quite alot. I just bought new ones and compared them too my old ones (that are only a few months old) and there is definately a noticable difference. I don't find that affects the functionality of the diaper at all. I am, however, concerned by this because the covers may not transfer from a bigger/older child to a younger/smaller child due to the amount of relaxation. I now have 9 covers and will be saving some for future children!

These are our favorite of all the cloth diapers. We have been using them for 3 yrs now with 3 kids, and a stash of 30 covers and 60 inserts gets us through at least 2 solid days, sometimes longer--my 3yo is close to potty training but my 2yo and 7mo still use them exclusively. We were very excited to be able to totally refresh our stash during the Black Friday - Cyber Monday sale, and will be reselling our previous stash to another Mama in a few days who is very excited to be using Flips as well. We have used bumGenius, prefolds with covers, and of course Flips, and Flips are by far our favorite. They are so easy to grab and go, and you don't have to spend an hour stuffing each time they come out of the wash (both of which things are really important when you're a busy mom of multiple littles!). Also, they are SUPER at keeping big messes IN. We hardly ever have poo anywhere other than inside the diaper, and, like I said, have been using Flips exclusively for 3 yrs. At night we double the stay dry inserts and almost never have leaks. We also almost never have rashes, and when we do, we do a strip cycle as part of our normal wash routine (See Cloth Diaper Basics link in bottom of left column here on CottonBabies.com) and things are back to normal. We just can't say enough good things about these diapers. For the quality, price, ease of use and versatility, you definitely couldn't find a better diaper. Especially in this economy, where it's important to families to save as much as possible while providing the best care for their children, you definitely can't go wrong with Flips.

My go-to cover for my three month old boy. I have three flips and three newborn size from another company. Will switch to AIO eventually, but with flip there is no hurry.

Love my Flip covers!!! I use the Flip covers with either prefolds or over pocket diapers that I made myself and they work great. I have a couple of other brands of diaper covers too, but the Flip covers are the ones I use every day. I only have 3 Flip covers and for my set-up it works great. I just rotate through them throughout the day and let them air dry out between changes, or if any poop ends up on them, I rinse them out in the sink, and hang them up in the shower to dry. I run all of them through the wash every time I do a load of diapers and switch to using the other brand diaper covers until my Flips dry. The only downside I seen with the covers is that they didn't really fit my little one very well until she hit about 14 pounds, although she had pretty skinny legs, but once she hit that weight, they have worked great and I have never had a blow out unlike I have experienced with my other covers. If I have anymore kids in the future, I will definitely be buying more of these.

I have been using the Flip Diaper system ever since my 20-month-old son was born and I absolutely love it. It was my first time using cloth diapers and I was very overwhelmed by all the options at first. But using the diaper cover with the stay-dry insert is easy, virtually leakproof, and so economical. Once you start, you get the hang of cloth diapering very quickly. I recommend the snap diapers because my hook and loop are wearing out and my son can take them off easily, while the snaps stay on securely. We have never had a "poop blowout" or diaper rash. I love the Rockin'Green laundry detergent the best for my diapers- they get rid of the smell and keep them looking very clean. I use flannel wipes too- they work well and are easy to throw in and wash with my diapers. Try the Flip's - I am so happy that I did!

Our little man has been wearing these since he was a week old. He's now 2.5 months, so it hasn't been terribly long yet, but I am vrry satisfied with this cover, the stay dry inserts, and the disposable inserts as well. I use prefolds with cover also and our infant Indian prefolds with a bumgenius sock is just like having a 4.0 diaper on. I love how fast this covet dries. When he was 3 Weeks old we had to go out of town and stay at a motel for a week. When I ran out of the disposable inserts I had to use Pampers from the local store! Everytime they leaked.I put this cover over the pamper and it saved his outfit from having to be changed constantly. No more leaks! Great fit and my go to cover. Plus I love the colors and the Albert...so cute! We use hook and loop because they're just easier in my opinion.

Love! Love! Love! I love the Flips system, my daughter is 5 months old now and the fact these covers grow with her is wonderful and the hook/loop closures make diaper changes very easy for my husband. We use them with cotton pre-folds during the day and cotton/hemp pre-folds at night. The laundry tabs are perfect and they wash wonderfully right along with our pre-folds. We do tend to have to put them to be washed after a big poop (because her poop is so soft) but 99% of the time the elastic leg gussets hold it all in really well. We have 12 covers total, but would recommend a minimum of 6 if you are washing a load of diapers every 2-3 days. For anyone looking to save money, cloth diaper, have lots of versatility, and have quality diaper covers that last I would definitely recommend the Flips system.

I LOVE the flip system. I used another brand of cloth diapers on my son and quit after three months because I couldn't stand them. I recently decided to give it another shot with my eight month old daughter and asked my sister in law for advise. She recommended the flip system, and I gotta say I'm hooked! She's big enough so I don't have to snap the rise down, although I could, but I like it much better unsnapped. With it snapped down it does cause extra bulk, so if you want a very slim fitted diaper these may not be for you. I tried pocket diapers with my son and I find the flip diapers much more slim. At night and during naps I put a hemp insert between the cover and stay dry insert and I haven't had a problem with them leaking.

I have been using cloth for about 8 months now and I have to say that I was surprised at how well these covers work. I have experienced leaking around the tabs in the front but have fixed the problem by placing the folded portion of my insert in front. I find these covers easy to use. The fact that I can wipe them clean and reuse is a HUGE plus! The elastic bands are a little worn but that's alright, it's to be expected because of the small amount of material used. Plus, it's cheap and easy to repair. Thanks cotton babies!!!

Some of my hook and loop are starting to get some "love" on them but they still work. Make sure to attach the hook and loop to the tabs when washing so they don't stick to everything and wear down. the elastic has been pretty good, out of 18 covers only 2 have lost there effectiveness. These are excellent for big to small babies! My son is huge at one yr, 95 percentile, 3t clothing, and he hasn't outgrown these in the biggest setting yet!I have gotten a few of the bumgenius 4.0 and love them since the pocket keeps the insert in place better than these covers. It really all comes down to your style and different diapers work differently for different people. If you are new to cloth just buy a couple to do a test run! But overall these are excellent!

I am a stay-at-home mother with 7 children ages 8, 7, 6, 5, 3, 20 months, and 9 weeks. I have tried cloth diapering with each of my babies and have never succeeded due to frustrations with diaper rashes, cover problems, and not ever having enough of what I need in the right sizes to fit all the ones I have in diapers. The Flip system has made it possible. I can use the same covers and inserts for my newborn, my petite 20 month old, my chunky 3 year old, and at night for my petite 5 year old. I even use the night inserts at night with a cover I made on my 8 year old at night. I love the flexibility and ease of use of both the covers and the inserts. I fold the daytime inserts 2-3 different ways to fit the 3 different size settings. I fold it in 3rds for my newborn and then in 3rds again and in half and then in 3rd one way for medium and the other way for large. It doesn't make a difference if dried in the dryer though. And they dry so quickly. It only takes and hour or so on a sunny day on the line. The night inserts take much longer to dry but are wonderful for overnights or anytime I won't be able to change as often. Folded the short way they actually fit in both the small and medium snap setting. Which is a blessing because my 9 week old just started sleeping through the night. The covers dry super fast too. I recently been having trouble with repelling issues so my covers weren't waterproof and cotton babies was excellant working with me to figure it out even offering to replace them. I thank the Lord I found my Flips. As missionaries without modern conveniences like indoor plumbing and running water they are such a blessing to our family.

Oh, I forgot to say that the repelling issues got all worked out. I was using too much soap. My covers and inserts are working great again. Praise the Lord!

I love love love the flips! We have used all kids of diapers -- bg one size, fuzzi bunz perfect and one size, econobum, prefolds (with bummis sww and bummis ss and thirsties), smartipants one size and a bunch of random diapers. These are hands down my favorite. Here's why 1. trimmest cloth dipe ever, esp on nb with the stay dry nb inserts 2. Takes up less space in diaper bag, and wet bag 3. Simple to use - doesn't eat up my time stuffing 4. Snaps are divine -- even when my husband changes the baby, i don't have to worry about him forgetting to use the laundry tabs and my diapers getting pilly in the wash. 5. Reliable at containing messes. We are on baby #3 and i am selling all my fuzzi bunz and non-flip covers to fund stashing up on more flips. Might even sell my bg one-size too! affordable, easy...best diaper ever!

I got lucky by choosing the Flip system when I switched from disposables to cloth , bc it was the right fit for my family right away . With a 2 mo and a 2yo I could use the covers on both babies , and they fit both of my kids wonderfully . Switching to cloth got my 2yo more dedicated to potty training bc I used ecnobum prefolds instead of microfiber so she could feel the wetness. I like using indian cotton prefold with the covers bc its cheaper , altough I do want to try the stay fry inserts when I get alittle $ ! I lovee these covers , I have some bummis and a prorap and I dont even use them !

Love love LOVE this diaper system - it is now all I use for my twin baby boys. They are now about 13 lbs, and up until recently I had been using Gdiapers (which I will say are SUPER cute, but ridiculously expensive in contrast to Flip...and harder to launder...). But I'm so glad I switched to Flip diapers instead of purchasing the next size up in Gdiapers - quite likely these one-sized diapers will fit right up until they potty train! I love the organic cotton inserts, and the night-time ones are brilliantly absorbent - seriously, like nothing else I've tried for such a trim result. I would highly recommend these! The only thing I would say against them is that they probably won't fit wee little ones (my boys were just over 5 and just over 6 lbs, and these probably would've been up to their armpits at the beginning! hehe). In short, I'm totally sold on Flip diapers - these are all I'll ever use!!!

I like these covers very much, but I prefer the Econobum cover. I find that the flip cover and stay dry insert is the trimmest option, and I have used every diaper out there.

We have been using the Flip covers for the last 8 months (since our baby girl was 3 weeks) and LOVE them. I had no experience with cloth diapers and researched so many different options before settling on these. They are easy to care for and are very cute. We use the covers with prefolds and a piece of microfleece cut to the prefold's size to wick away moisture. (Bought a yard of microfleece at the fabric store, and it works great!) We do have a few Flip inserts that we double with a prefold for night--otherwise, we just use the prefolds/microfleece 'insert' on a regular basis. I would highly recommend going with the snaps rather than hook&loop since the hook&loop tends to wear out faster and collect junk. All in all, this is a great product!

This is the best diaper system I've tried. From pinning cloth under nylon covers to expensive systems with restricted size flexibility, these covers are so convenient I can't even think of a shocking punch line descriptive enough to express the awe I am in. I never thought I'd be able to handle cloth diapering, but here I am! These covers have worked great with their own line of inserts and also with pre-folds I have accumulated over time. I have a big enough supply now but if I need more covers I will be going straight for Flip. I am confident that most everyone who tries these will definitely be satisfied.

Best I've used for newborn I purchased a few types of cloth so we could start using them as soon as we got home. Baby girl is 6 weeks old and these are my favorite for newborn purposes. I pair them with prefolds during the day and a kissaluv at night (easier in the dark!). We go through so many diapers every day (probably 15-20?), the fuzzi bunz & bg are cost prohibitive. Using these I can do laundry every 3 days which makes my life a whole lot easier as a new mom :)

I am in love with my Flips. They are great for on the go, and specially for bed time. I have never had any blow outs, or leaks with any of my Flips, and i recommend them all the time.

I have some flips and 4.0 diapers. I use the 4.0 during the day but i really like the flips for at night. First of all they are easier to double stuff, but i really like the stay dry inserts for my baby that sleeps through the night now. I feel better knowing he is not just wet with pee all night. Also I have some disposable inserts that make flips great for traveling, you can just throw the insert away and not carry around soiled dipes

I love my Flip covers. I originally purchased 3 of them to try with my daughter when she was a couple months old. I used those 3 covers exclusively for 6 months, just switching between them, so they got lots of wear. I later added 2 Econobum covers to my rotation, and was rotating through 5 covers until my daughter was 2 years old and potty trained. After almost 2 years of heavy use they are still in great shape, PUL is intact and the elastic isn't too stretched out either. I recently bought 3 more Flips during the seconds sale for my upcoming baby and can't wait to use them. For me Flips are the best cover.

We have used Flips since my baby's umbilical cord fell off, when he was about 3 weeks and 8-9 pounds. He will turn one year in two days, and we just moved up to the largest rise setting (he is 22 pounds now). I fully expect to use these until he potty trains. They have fit great and held up well with repeated washings. In fact, at 8 months, we ordered 2 more covers for day care and compared them to the ones we had been using- you could barely tell which were new and which we used! Maybe a very slight stretching at the gussets, if you really were looking- but they still work just fine. Initially, we doubled the stay dry inserts at night. Around 4 months of age, my baby began wetting so much that he leaked at night. Now we double with a hemp insert and have had no leaks due to saturation. We have had some leaks due to fit as he has grown, but the issue was resolved by adjusting the rise or tightness at the waist. We exclusively cloth diaper and have 10 covers (had only 8 covers until baby was 8 months old and that would have been sufficient but I wanted more so my day care provider would have a clean cover for every change), 30 stay dry inserts (which is more than plenty- probably could've bought 24), and 4 hemp inserts in our stash. I've had no issues with the inserts bunching or moving around- just lay them in there and you're set. Do be sure that no part of the insert pokes out the leg hole (see my photo of month one- that probably ended in a leak!). Also make sure to always have the microfiber side down as my mother-in-law once put it in upside down and my son developed a rash quickly. We tend to wash every other day but can go every three days if needed. Initially, we had to wash every other day and sometimes every day because we ran out of covers when my baby was younger used to poop more frequently. When they are really little, the cover pretty much always needs washed if baby poops (until my baby started solids, when I could spray or shake the poop off). Sometimes it needs washed because the stretchy tabs are saturated with urine after an overnight usage. With all that washing (I do a prewash with half detergent, wash with Charlie's Soap on hot, and extra rinse in my front loader), the diapers and inserts look like the day I bought them. I do always line dry the covers (they dry super fast) and use a half cup of bleach on the inserts about once a month to get rid of stains and funk. I will also add that we used the disposable inserts on a weekend out of town. They were great! A little pricier than non-premium disposables (when we used sposies with our first two kids, we purchased them from Costco at around twenty four cents each). I changed diapers every 2 hours in the flip disposable insert, too, which was somewhat more frequent than a regular disposable. I haven't tried just a disposable insert alone at night- I don't think it would hold up without leaking. When traveling, we brought the hemp inserts and used them under the stay dry insert overnight. I have used the disposable inserts underneath a stay dry insert overnight when my hemp inserts weren't dry enough to use (they take forever to dry once washed), and that worked great. I have found cloth diapering to be much easier than expected. I EBF the first 6 months, so I just tossed all diapers in a dry pail without prerinsing. They always came out clean from the wash. When we started solid foods at 6 months, I used the shower head to spray the poopy diapers off into the toilet, wring out, and drop in the pail. By 8 months, my baby was at a point where I just shake the poop off in the toilet, no spraying needed. We tried those flushable liners, but they gave my baby a terrible rash. Cloth diapering has been an adventure, requiring a little problem solving as baby has grown and changed, but has definitely been economical and resulted in much less waste. I calculated that we broke even on our investment after using the diapers, inserts, wipes, 2 diaper pail liners, and wet/dry bag for the diaper bag for four months. Now it's like we diaper for free, aside from a little extra on the water bill. I haven't tried any other cloth diaper because the flips were a great price and have worked well for our situation. I hope that my review helps you decide if they will be a good fit for you!

As a nanny to an only cloth diaper family I learned to love these quite quickly that when I got pregnant I was blessed that they handed down their collection to me! Now, I am expecting baby number two and plan to keep cloth diapering my two children! I love the FLIP brand because they are so easy to use. With our first baby, we had 7 covers and 40 inserts! Found out you do not need that many inserts for one child! With that being said, we just put in to order 7 more covers for baby number two! For on the go, FLIP diapers seem to be the best cloth diapering option for us. A cover (unless soiled by a BM explosion) can last 2-3 diaper changes! And washing the inserts and covers is a breeze! I would definitely recommend these to any friend/family member! At night we use the BumGenius Elementals - also sold by Cotton Babies. We have 6 of these for each boy. We find that these worked best for us when our first started sleeping through the night.
